Advanced Flow Technologies Inc. provides a low cost, oil well monitoring system, Watch-Dog, which is guaranteed to increase production. Watch-Dog will tell you 3 basic things about your well: Is the well pumping? If fluid being produced? Is fluid being produced at the expected levels?


To do this it sense vibration either directly on the pump or in some cases on the gas powered engine. When it detects no vibration it immediately triggers an alarm and sends a text or email to the operator to inform them their well has stopped moving.


To determine fluid production and efficiency we place a temperature sensor externally on the bottom of the well piping next to the stuffing box. Obviously oil carries heat so if the heat deviates towards ambient then there is no fluid being produced.


Extremely simple concept but huge potentail. Currently we have 30 producers using the system who are realizing huge returns on investment.
