Can anyone make recommendations for hotel accommodations? Where is everyone else from out of town staying? Is anyone else driving up from Texas?
Cat P.: Hi Ed! We, too have to stay at a hotel when we come to town. Here are three: The Country Inn and Suites www.countryinns.com, Comfort Suites (618) 997-9133, The Hampton Inn (618) 998-9900 and there are more. I usually just google Marion Illinois Hotels.

Robin, is there a hotel you have blocked out for those of us coming into town or do you have info on any in the area. I need to make reservations, due to Memorial day weekend.
Robin A.: Cathy, we have a Days Inn, 618-439-3183 and a Super 8, 618-438-8205 out by interstate here in Benton. Marion which is about 25 minutes away has a Comfort suites, 618-997-9133 and a Holiday Inn express 618-998-1220. Mt. Vernon and Carbondale have several too. let me know if you need more info or some other options
