Company Description

Ko-Hen Electronics Supply Ltd was founded by Joe Koziol and Morley Hennig to distribute electronic parts and components to Central Alberta wholesale's commercial and industrial electronics industry. It opened its doors for business on July 2, 1977, in the Truck Town industrial building at 76 Street and 49 Avenue in Red Deer, Alberta. At that time, the business occupied 1408 square feet, and its main products were for the communications, TV repair industries, and retail sales. When Morley and his wife relocated to Nova Scotia in October 1995, Joe and his wife Janice purchased Morley's portion of the company. Joe continued to operate Ko-Hen Electronics solo until January 1998, when his son Brent Koziol joined the business. In 2002, Joe and Brent leased the neighboring space in Truck Town and expanded the operation to 3840 square feet to accommodate new inventory and products. When Joe retired, the company reins were turned over to Brent. Brent and his wife, Nonette, are now the sole owners and still operate the company as a family business.
