Martens PLLC is a Bismarck-based law firm serving all of North Dakota, with an emphasis on its western counties. Having worked in the oil and gas industry in western North Dakota over the past five years, James W. Martens formed Martens PLLC to address the expanding needs of clients in the following areas:

· Assisting operators and mineral owners with title curative issues such as probates, ancillary probates, stipulations of interest, and quiet title actions, as well as document and deed preparation and review.

· Providing title opinion services concerning surface and mineral interests to financial institutions, real estate developers, and oil and gas producers.

· Providing criminal defense services to accused persons throughout North Dakota, with a strong focus on the state’s western counties and “the patch.”

Martens PLLC is a North Dakota firm - where handshakes still mean something.
