Company Description

The company is currently active in the Athabasca oil sands region of northeast Alberta where rights to over 12,000 gross acres (19 contiguous sections) of oil sands lands have been secured. The company's portfolio of oil provides stable, environmentally responsible production and a platform for future growth. Surmont Energy plans to deploy SAGD technology in the near term on its properties
and over the longer term on a number of other producing prospects.
