Company Description

Stealth Oilfield Inspections Ltd. was incorporated Sept 27, 2000 in Red Deer, Alberta, by Gerry Der and Dennis Costen. Gerry worked for Georay Inspections for 18 years, and brought inspection knowledge and experience. Dennis had worked for Georay & Tuboscope for 2 1/2 years as well as for CE Franklin for 20 years in management. The company's first day of business was Nov 1, 2000 and soon had three inspection trucks operating and doing a variety of inspections for several service companies in Red Deer. After continued growth, Stealth decided to offer wellhead tubing inspections. In August 2004 Mike Walliser added his expertise to the company by becoming a partner. Mike had 28 years in the oilfield industry, first in the supply business for 14 years, then with Majestic Oil Tools and Smith International. The company began with two wellhead inspection trucks in Red Deer and shortly after opened a shop in Drayton Valley. We currently operate four wellhead tubing inspection trucks in Red Deer, and two in Drayton Valley. In August of 2010, Stealth opened a branch in Grande Prairie to carry out inspections on drilling rigs and to inspect down hole tools and rental equipment. In March of 2013, Stealth made an agreement to purchase Enerchem Inspections Ltd, previously owned and operated by Rush McEachern. Stealth has grown to 26 employees and 14 inspection trucks. Our employees have multiple years of experience, totalling in excess of 130 years in the inspection business. Stealth is a very safety conscious company and have held our COR Safety Certificate since 2001. We are members of ISNetworld, Comply Works, and are on most major oil companies approved list. We are a member in good standing with IPIA (International Pipe Inspector's Association) our employees have taken courses provided by them specializing in the oilfield industry. From a small beginning, Stealth Oilfield Inspections Ltd. has grown to a company that performs inspections all over western Canada and it continues to flourish as a leader with high standards in the oilfield inspection business.
