As the leading manufacturer of Portable Insulated Shelters in Canada, our well established company is focused on supplying the most versatile, economical polyethylene shelters available today. Our light-weight, durable, corrosion free shelters can be utilized for storage and freeze protection for water injection wells, gas wells, switch valves, headers and many other applications. We originally began manufacturing fiberglass shelters in 1988, building a variety of shapes and sizes. In 1990, we made a transition to the "POLY" shelter and have been "leading the way" ever since. Our management team has over 40 years combined experience in rotational moulding and product design. At D & G Polyethylene Products Ltd. we have one of the largest bi-axial rotational moulding ovens in Western Canada. This allows us the capability to mold exceptionally large seamless products, like our 9' x 9' x 9' high "King" shelter. In 2003, D & G Polyethylene Products Ltd. expanded from our original 4,000 sq ft production area to a 14,500 sq ft fully modernized facility. From AutoCAD design capabilities to our metal fabrication shop, we boast a wide array of fabricating equipment and a very knowledgeable staff. We are able to take your concept from design to production with a minimal turnaround. With our 125,000 lb capacity silos and automated material handling system, D & G Polyethylene Products Ltd. is able to purchase our raw materials in bulk, and pass the savings along to our valued customers. We are constantly upgrading our equipment and adding to our vast product line to serve our clientele better. Our updated modular shelters, originally ranged from 8' - 8.5' high and 40' or more in length, and now includes heights up to 15'. This modified design allows us to offer shelters measuring 8' x 10' x 8' high all the way up to 16' x 40' x 15' high. With all our shelters shipped preassembled and complete with lifting lugs, there is essentially no on-site construction. Prior to the shelter arriving, the client just prepares a level pad and then "set it and forget it". We can provide a large number of options such as barn-style doors, overhead doors, plexi glass windows, panic hardware, pre-access safety doors, vents and pre-cut pipe entry/exit ports with seals allowing for quick installation and removal for existing pipe configurations.
