The NEB regulates pipelines, power lines, energy development and trade in the Canadian public interest. Canada’s energy landscape is constantly evolving, defined by the ever growing interest from the public in this country’s energy system. As Canada’s federal energy regulator, the NEB knows it has a vital role to play in this system – protecting what matters most: lands, water, environment, jobs, communities, safety, and well-being.
